Muse gets top NME honour

At the NME Awards top honors has been received by Muse for the best Best British Band tonight at the Brixton Academy ceremony.

HURTS received Best New Band and PROFESSOR GREEN's Monster the Dancefloor Filler of the Year.

LAURA MARLING won her second gong of the month for Best Solo Artist while FOALS' song Spanish Sahara was named Best Track.

In the international categories MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE somehow beat both KINGS OF LEON and ARCADE FIRE to bag Best International Band.

The emo group also picked up Best Video for their single Na Na Na.Arcade Fire won Best Album Award.

Kate Hudson Thanked By Matt Bellamy At Grammy Awards 2011


Kate Hudson for receiving award on behalf of Muse Matt Bellamy at the Grammy's last night (February 13) in Los Angeles.

Matt on picking up his award by girlfriend thanks her a lot.

'Best Rock Album' for album 'The Resistance' has been won by Muse band frontman and paid tribute to the actress in his acceptance speech.

"I would like to give a special thanks to my beautiful, pregnant girlfriend over there," Bellamy told the audience.

He added: "This is a genuine surprise. It's a great honour to be here with all the great artists who have performed here tonight and everyone who has won all the awards."

Lady Gaga And Muse To Perform Together At Grammy Awards?


According to reports,at the Grammy Awards later this month Muse will perform together with Lady Gaga.

The Devon band on stage will be join by the singer,although it is not clear what they plan to perform according to the Daily Star.

A spokesperson for the Grammy Awards was unavailable to comment on the story when approached by Gigwise.

At the ceremony in Los Angeles on February 13,Lady Gaga will debut her new single 'Born This Way' confirmed by her.

Meanwhile, Rihanna will perform with Drake, while Cee Lo Green is due to collaborate with Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Eminem Katy Perry, Cee Lo Green and Arcade Fire have also been confirmed by organisers.
