Muse refute smoking interdiction legend

Muse's set perform previously week live at Australlia's Rod Laver Arena may have been smoking.

At Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena management refuse Muse receiver a five year ban because Christopher Wolstenholme performer broke the venues no smoking policy enforced under Australian law.

The following statement on before of the venue Jo Juler from Rod Laver:
'Muse played two full shows at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne last week. It has been incorrectly reported that they have been banned from the venue due to a band member smoking on stage. We confirm that the band have not been banned from Rod Laver Arena, and did not receive a fine. The crowd were extremely well behaved at both shows and there were no incidents/issues to report. The band are very welcome back to Rod Laver Arena when Muse next tour Australia.'
