Muse is a British rock band in Teignmouth, Devon, England in 1994. Since their inception, the band has been consisted of Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, piano), Christopher Wolstenholme (bass guitar, vocals, keyboards) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion). Muse are recognized best for their vigorous and visually dramatic live performances and on 16 June and 17, 2007 became the first band to sell out the newly built Wembley Stadium in London. Muse have launched four studio albums. Their most new, Black Holes & Revelations, make the band a Mercury Prize nomination and a third place finish in the NME Albums of the Year list for 2006. The band are getting ready their fifth studio album, The Resistance, which is scheduled to be launched on September 14th 2009.Muse have got many other music awards throughout their career, as well as five MTV Europe Music Awards, five Q Awards, six NME Awards, two BRIT awards and four Kerrang! Awards. They have been concerned with Teenage Cancer Trust and played at the Royal Albert Hall where they donated all money made by t-shirts etc, to the charity.
